Paul’s career in digital art started back in 1992 at a small offset Litho printers. He made the move to FMCG packaging in 1997, working within the origination department of Mars Confectionery at its UK head office in Berkshire. There, he worked with Brand Managers throughout Europe on Global brands such as Mars, Twix, Snickers, Galaxy and Starburst.
After three years at Mars, he started working for a design agency, Tynan D’Arcy, before moving to global agency The Brand Union (previously Enterprise IG), in 2002 as Senior Production Artist.
Paul moved to Blue Marlin in 2005 as Production Manager, heading the artwork team and managing projects from design through to print, and left the UK in 2009, ending up in Vietnam. Here, he started-up Crunchy Frog with Sarah Bartholomew and manages the creative and digital side of the business.
Sarah has over 20 years’ experience of researching and developing brands. She is a big advocate of the importance of brand strategy to the success of a business and has excellent understanding and experience of the processes, analysis and inputs involved.
Her career started at Unilever UK as Consumer Insight Manager with a stint at global agency The Brand Union (previously Enterprise IG) as Brand Planner before working as a freelance brand and research consultant. Her experience is broad, spanning both business-to-consumer and business-to-business.
Sarah moved to Vietnam in 2010 and established Crunchy Frog with Paul Bartholomew. At Crunchy Frog Sarah works as Client Director and Strategic Consultant as well as being responsible for new business and overseeing day-to-day operations.
