Branding is a relatively new concept in Vietnam with design often still viewed as making something “look nice”, rather than an exercise in brand building.
Rarely do we receive a brief that includes a good description of the brand, but as a strategic design agency it’s our job to understand the client’s brand and deliver solutions that communicate this consistently to the intended target audience.
It can often be difficult to describe what we mean by “brand” in the meeting environment, particularly when multiple languages are involved, so we’ve put together a set of charts and a briefing template in English and Vietnamese that aim to make it easier to talk brand with clients and a agree a clear brief for design. We hope that will facilitate the conversations we have and ensure stronger, more brand-drive outputs.
